Consent

In order to be able to provide you with our personal service, your consent is required so that the relevant data can be collected, processed and used for the specified purpose. Consent is given by confirming the general terms of use. We expressly point out that you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. With your consent you agree that your data can also be viewed by third parties involved in the application process. You are solely responsible for the content that you publish or make available.

Storage of application data

The stored data is used exclusively for candidate management purposes. This data will not be passed on to third parties. The only exceptions to this are any service providers used by Deichmann for candidate management. The processing of your personal data disclosed to us is primarily governed by the GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG new) in the respective valid versions. According to them, the collection, processing, use and transmission of data (hereinafter: data use) is permitted if a legal provision permits it or if the data subject has consented to it. If you are hired, your data will be stored and processed as employee data.

Transfer of application data to affiliated companies

This application platform is designed to store all application data submitted by applicants in such a way that employees of companies affiliated with Deichmann SE as the parent company that are entrusted with the selection of personnel can also access these application documents and therefore the personal data of applicants. You explicitly agree to this provision by using this application platform. Moreover, your application documents may be passed on to affiliated companies of Deichmann SE.

Withdrawal

You can object to the storage of your data at any time by sending an e-mail, using the reference –Withdrawal of online application–, to karriere-dsd@deichmann.com. In this case, your data will no longer be processed and will be erased in accordance with data protection regulations and therefore cannot be restored.

Right of access

According to the GDPR (Art. 15–18) you have a right of free access to your stored data as well as a right to rectification, blocking or erasure of this data.

Other

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to the application process. In all other respects, the general terms of use for using the Deichmann SE website shall apply. They are available via the "Privacy Policy" link provided at the bottom of every page on our website. In addition, we ask you to take note of the following information in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR:

3. The following personal data is collected from you: first name, surname, date of birth, address, e-mail (address), phone, school leaving certificate (if applicable)

4. Purposes for which the personal data is processed: candidate selection and management, interviewing (where applicable)

5. Legal basis of processing: Art. 6 Para. 1 a) Consent of the data subject to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes; b) Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;

6. Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data: responsible Deichmann employees

7. Period of storage of personal data or, alternatively, criteria for determining this period: maximum 6 months

8. You have a right of access by the controller to the relevant personal data as well as to rectification or erasure or to restriction of processing or to data portability and to object to processing. Please address your requests regarding this to the Data Protection Officer specified in number 2 above.

9. If data processing is based solely on Art. 6 Para. 1 a) GDPR, i.e. you have given your consent to the collection

and processing of data, you are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time, but without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the time of withdrawal.

10. You also have a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority. 11. In the event of an application on your part, the provision of your personal data is required (Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR). Accordingly, you are under the obligation to provide the controller (see number 1 above) with this personal data (see number 3 above). If this data is not provided, no candidate selection or interview can take place.

12. There is no automated decision making with regard to your person and candidate management.
